Dementia Friendly Advisor Dr Meg Spriggs is joined by the University of Auckland’s Dr Brigid Ryan to learn more about Young Onset Dementia, as we mark World Alzheimers Month 2023.
Brigid has a keen interest in Young Onset Dementia and is leading the New Zealand Genetic Frontotemporal Dementia Study – which often affects people under the age of 65. She’s also Chair of the Younger Onset Dementia Trust (YODAT) which provides support to people and their whānau living with Young Onset Dementia in Aotearoa New Zealand.
