We want to make life better for all people affected by dementia. Our staff operate in a variety of ways, working alongside those diagnosed with dementia and their whānau/families to provide a clear pathway to gain the support and services needed to live life better with dementia.

Carers Support Group

This group meets monthly for sharing concerns and questions for people living with, or caring for someone with dementia. From time to time they will have a guest speaker to present on a topic of interest to the group; New information on resources available or something inspriational to hear about, or a specialist who may be able to provide answers to a shared problem. This group meets on the 3rd Friday of each month with the venue to be confirmed. Contact the office for more information.

A donation made as a gift ‘in memory of’, is a lovely way to honour and celebrate someone’s life, while helping us to support people living with dementia. You may want to ask for donations to Alzheimers NZ in lieu of flowers at a funeral.
