Alzheimers NZ Board invites wider sector to acknowledge milestones
The Alzheimers NZ Board invites friends, partners, stakeholders and the wider health sector to acknowledge some important milestones for the organisation later this year.
The board, and newly elected Co Chairs Eileen Basher and Di Stokes, encourage the sector to join both the pre-election political panel and the conference in September.
These events are a timely lead up to the 2026 General Election and an opportunity to acknowledge 40 years of the organisation, during World Alzheimers Month.
The events will also be a chance to say thank you to departing Chief Executive Catherine Hall (pictured), who will step back from the role at the end of July but continue to support the organisation with the successful running of the events until October.
Interim Chief Executive Phillipa Bascand will step in until a permanent appointment is made later this year.
Catherine’s passion for the sector has put dementia mate wareware on the Government’s radar so it’s only fitting we say a final thanks.
We do hope you can join us at one or both events to acknowledge these important milestones, including saying haere rā to Catherine.
Please note if you would like to join one or both events you will need to register for each one separately.
