A course for those grieving as a Carer

Certified Grief Educators have completed a certificate programme designed by world-renowned grief expert, David Kessler. They bring his unique methodology, tools, and decades of experience to help people navigate the challenges of grief.

Rayleen has created a course to help participants to understand the journey of grief and loss, whether after a loss, or in anticipation of change, grief and loss.

Specifically, the course will look at anticipatory grief as a carer of someone with a diagnosis of dementia.

The is course is run over six weeks looking at

  1. Plan the route.  – Accept and witness the pain.
  2. Pack and start the Journey. – Express your feelings.
  3. Along The Way. – Release the burden, guilt / shame etc..
  4. Junctions and side turns. – Become free of old wounds and prevent new ones.
  5. Revisit destinations, and plan for new ones. – integration of pain and love.
  6. Future Travel. – Find meaning in life after loss.
