The memory Rose is planted in one of the gardens at the park centre at Timaru Botanic Gardens with its memorial plaque that was generously donated to Alzheimers by Timaru Engravers.

Volunteers Gather
Memorial Ceremony
The memorial ceremony was held during Volunteers Week in June 2021 at the Park Centre. It was an extremely cold day so all most of the ceremony took place inside. The planting of the rose was watched by Alzheimers South Canterbury volunteers, board members and staff from inside the park Centre during our Volunteer Celebration.
