About Dementia Education Workshops

We are pleased to offer these monthly education workshops for clients (especially for those newly diagnosed) and care partners, family and whānau.

This 1-1.5hr About Dementia workshop will cover all the basic information you will need if you or someone you care for has recently received a dementia diagnosis.  Delivered in an easy to follow, informal way; you can attend in person or via Zoom.

It is usually facilitated by our Community Educator Gill. Free for all clients of Alzheimers Taranaki.

It will be offered to all new clients and their care partners/carers/family and will run on the first Tuesday of every month (usually from 10-11.30am).

Occasionally we will run an evening About Dementia session for those who work during the day.
