Become a Volunteer Team Member
Alzheimers NZ represents people living with dementia at a national level by raising awareness of dementia, providing information and resources, advocating for high quality services, and promoting research about prevention, treatment, cure and care.
Become a respected and valued volunteer to support not only those in our community living with dementia, but also by providing respite for the family and caregivers of someone living with dementia.
Our volunteers are often empathetic people with a passion for supporting the vulnerable in the community or who have family/whanau who have gone through the dementia journey.
Here at Alzheimers Tauranga/WBOP, there is a wide range of volunteering opportunities to suit your individual time commitments. Training and education sessions are provided.
