Our staff
Alzheimers Nelson Tasman has two Dementia Advisors (formerly called Field Workers) who cover the Nelson/Tasman area, a Social Connector and an Office Administrator.

Dementia Advisors
Heather Lackner
Heather covers Richmond/Wakefield Mapua/Motueka and Golden Bay. Heather is our Manager and Educator who provides training for our volunteers as well as family carers and community/residential based carers; Heather also is available to give talks to community based organizations e.g. Probus groups.
Sue Cochrane
Sue is our full time Dementia Advisor who covers Atawhai/Nelson/Tahunanui and Stoke. Sue oversees the WandaTrak pendants and facilitates our “Take Charge” Early Memory Loss programme.
Social Connector
Shelley Muirhead
In this part-role Shelley will be enabling clients to stay connected with each other and/or in their community.
Office/Finance Administrator
Vicki Rae
Vicki has the role of part-time Office/Finance Administrator which includes funding applications and supporting our Dementia Advisors.
