When you visit

  • Respect time – they are busy!
  • Give them no more than 3 essential messages; e.g. Numbers of people with dementia are growing rapidly; New Zealand needs an action plan for dementia – and one has now been written; Government must implement it now to protect the wellbeing of thousands of Kiwis
  • Ask them for their views on dementia and the need for a plan.
  • Thank them.

After the meeting
Write a thank you note/email and include any links you think will be useful.
