Having been a care partner for both her parents, Bronwyn knows how important connections and friendships are, and how the smallest of acts of kindness can make a big difference.
Colin feels his family's experience with dementia would have been different if it was talked about more freely. As a Champion for Dementia, he wants to encourage us all to speak up, and give others the chance to help.
Philippa's dad Des wasn't going to let dementia get in the way of his creative spirit. With the help of Alzheimers Otago, he has written a book of poetry called 'How Art!'.
