Oral health in older people
This session covers a number of the oral health issues that staff working in aged care may encounter, and offers solutions and simple interventions that improve the older health of residents.
Speaker: Dr Guo Ling
Dr Ling works at the Auckland Regional Hospital and Specialty Dentistry unit as a full time dental consultant. He is interested in practical oral health care to medically complex patients including older adults. He is a keen advocate to improve oral health in the aged care sector.
